The Challenge

Metric Accessories who design and hand make jewellery in Peru are branching out into new markets in the UK. The accessories and fashion markets are crowded both online and offline so a solution was sought to secure a UK market footing.

Already established were a visually stunning website featuring Peruvian models wearing jewellery and a linked e-commerce website. Social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter were also in place but not gaining sufficient traction.

The Solution

A digital PR campaign was devised across channels both online and offline, to address both B2B retail and customer markets.

Attention was immediately focussed on attracting more potential customers via social media and reducing the number of steps required to reach the online store. Potential ‘bricks and mortar’ boutique retailers were researched to target and an introduction made to an established online retailer to drive cross-sale opportunities.

This foundation paves the way for Metric Accessories to run regular, focussed email marketing campaigns. Emails aimed to encourage customer retention, customer referrals and additional purchases.
